What we do overseas
Doing GOOD for the community
The donations received in Hong Kong were distributed to two secondary schools : Tuobodum Technical Senior High School and Guakro Effah Senior High School in Techiman North Ghana. Some donations such as clothes were also donated directly to the citizens of Offuman and some were allocated for KNEF’s Bono East Institute of Technology, Library, and Kindergarten.
KNEF would like to thank the Crossroads Foundation in Hong Kong, who helped us ship a full container of goods to Ghana including computers, desks, chairs, and other educational materials.
We also received donations of second-hand shoes and clothing from the staff, students, and parents at Chun Tok School in Hong Kong. These were donated and distributed directly to the community in Ghana. And many thanks to Mr. Eddie Yeung and Mrs. May Yeung for their donations.
We would also like to thank our Volunteers in Ghana and Hong Kong who helped with sorting, packing, transportation loading, and unloading the goods. It was no small job and could not have been done without them.
