Quality Education

Our aim is to provide relevant, affordable educational opportunities that are equitable, inclusive, and available to all. Our facilities will foster students to unlock their imaginations using literacy, numeracy, and vocational skills which will contribute to a progressive society.
KNEF focuses on these points that ensure and influence the quality of education at our school.

OVERSIGHT OF FUNDING

KNEF ensures our president is involved in all decisions including construction projects and when items are purchased or donated in Hong Kong and shipped to Ghana under the supervision of our vice president.

TEACHERS AND TEACHING METHODS

The teacher is perhaps the most influential person in the children’s education. For this reason, KNEF’s vice president organizes teacher training for our teachers annually. Teachers are also sent on training from the Ghana Education department throughout the year. At KNEF, we recognize that excellent teachers are the backbone of excellent education.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

We are trying to improve the safety and quality of our compound. We are already setting a new standard for the quality of the learning environment in the area. Other schools have taken notice and started improving their standards as a result. We couldn’t be happier.

SCHOOL MANAGEMENT

Harvest is run by members with deeply rooted knowledge about education. Our Vice President has been teaching for over 20 years and has a Master’s degree in Education. She directs the school and guides and promotes good management. KNEF also has a Board of Directors.

EDUCATIONAL CONTENT

The school follows the Ghanian curriculum with the addition of international elements and current educational trends.

Our expenditures include teaching materials and resources, building and school bus maintenance, operational, administrative, staffing, and general expenses including scholarship funds. We do not leave any surplus and deficits that are made up through donations.

Sponsor a teacher

Three out of ten kids' parents pay towards school fees. We aim to retain passionate well trained teachers and ensure that they receive their monthly salaries consistently, making Harvest a desirable school to work at.
